We had a wonderful Christmas lunch at Sailmaker! Although our reservation via Event Brite couldn’t be found initially, the duty manager noticed us waiting and quickly arranged a perfect table for us near the dessert bar...it was nice and quiet, away from the main noise. The Food: The oysters and king prawns were exceptionally fresh. The wagyu roast beef and barramundi were both delicious, but the roast turkey (the thigh was so succulent!) was the absolute standout. Layout: The food setting was perfect; each station was beautifully decorated and well spread out, which kept the queues short and the experience relaxed. The Desserts: A stunning and lovingly decorated spread... the best I have ever seen among many buffet spreads! I loved especially the warm plum pudding with cream, minced pies and Earl Grey Basque Cheesecake. The Service: Special mention to Samir, who provided exceptional service. He was so attentive with drink top-ups and clearing plates, all with a great smile. Highly recommend for a stress-free and delicious holiday celebration! Note: While the staff was great, the holiday spirit wasn't shared by everyone. A tall man unfortunately jumped the short seafood queue twice and was quite aggressive/swore at me when I began helping myself. It was a shame to encounter that kind of behavior, but the quality of the food and friendly staff like Samir really saved the day.

Our hotel stays which includes a breakfast at this restaurant. It is a very large restaurant and it was quite busy when we were here during the 2025/2026 New Year period! All the staff were well trained and very friendly and polite. They also worked very efficiently to serve hundreds if not thousands guests on the New Year Day! Breakfast selection was also very good. Five stars for sure. My wife and I were very happy about our New Year stays at this hotel!

My wife and I dined at Sailmaker tonight after seeing a mix of reviews on Google and First Table, and we’re so glad we decided to try it for ourselves. Our experience was exceptional. We started with the sourdough and garlic butter, which was simple but delicious. I ordered the Portoro sirloin, and my wife had the grilled lamb cutlets, with sides of French fries and medley vegetables to share. Every single dish was cooked perfectly, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. The staff were fantastic: attentive, friendly, and professional without ever being intrusive. It really made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. Everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back and can highly recommend Sailmaker to anyone considering it.

Amazing breakfast @ Hyatt Regency. Customer service was adequate, and the staff were all very lovely. The only complaint I have was the instrumental jazz/ cafe music they were playing, which was drowning the whole room that it became quite obnoxious. Other than the loud music it was a fairly fun breakfast.

The breakfast buffet was absolutely lovely – my partner and I really enjoyed it. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, with plenty of healthy options to choose from. The service was excellent and the staff were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel itself is also beautiful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was the perfect way to end our weekend away and the best start to a busy Sunday. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience celebrating a birthday here! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly outstanding. In addition, Susmita, provided excellent service — she was professional, kind, and made us feel so well taken care of. The staff also surprised us with complimentary dessert, drinks, and even a thoughtful hand-written birthday card, which made the evening even more special. We were lucky enough to have a window seat and enjoyed a beautiful view of the fireworks during our meal. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion!

Had an absolutely delightful dinner at Sailmaker. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The standout dishes for me were the scallops, toothfish, and prawns — each one cooked to perfection with incredible flavor and texture. The scallops were beautifully presented, with tender flesh and a flavorful topping that paired perfectly with the delicate glass noodles. The toothfish was an absolute highlight — cooked just right with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a rich, buttery flavor that still felt light. Its doneness was spot on, giving it that perfect balance between crisp edges and a soft, moist center. The prawns were juicy and packed with flavor, adding even more depth to the seafood selection. The Riesling recommended by the manager was a fantastic choice — it complemented the seafood dishes brilliantly with its crisp, clean finish. To top it off, Chef Sven visited our table to introduce the menu and share insights into each dish. He was warm, engaging, and clearly passionate about his craft, which made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for a special night out, especially if you’re into top-quality seafood, thoughtful wine pairing, and exceptional service.
